What are Leagues?

After playing a game, the pop up said that I drew the game and didn't gain any rating points. However, it also said that I gained 3 points in the Wood league

Can someone explain to me what this means?

I have been inactive for over a month, so I have never seen this before

Okay, I think I understand the gist of what Leagues are after reading a couple articles. But what is the point of them?

I do not yet understand the point of it. I believe there were supposed to be prizes for the people in the highest league? But I don't actually know anyone that's reached it yet so I can't confirm. I opted out as soon as I saw it

Oh, okay. Why did you opt out? I think leagues are just pools of random players, of which the top ones in each pool (which lasts for around a week) advance to the next league? Is that correct?

I got mad that people 1000 points lower than me were higher than me in the table tbh

if u keep on winning these matches u'll keep on increasing points..

first you will be in wood ig then bronze then silver u'll only have few days to complete ur misiion and ur mission is it be in 1st place then u'll get trophy and awards
