What class will I play in handicap chess?

Hey! I have played chess for one year, and after a few thousand games on chess.com my rating has come to be about 1500-1600. I was checking out tournaments close to me and found one, and if I participated in it, I guess I would be an unrated player. Anyway, it is a handicap tournament, with 10 minutes being split between the players depending on their ratings. Now, there are 4 classes (ELO).

A - 2150+

B - 1950 - 2150

C - 1750 - 1950

D - below 1750

I guess I would be put in class D, right? They said that if A plays D, the time handicap will be 2-8. If B plays D, 3-8 and if C plays D, 4-6. Does that mean I would have a great chance of actually winning some of my games? From what I've heard, chess.com players are really strong in blitz, and since my highest blitz rating here has been 1600 (and I haven't fallen below 1500 for months) and have played 4500 blitz games, will that give me a good chance against these players? Thanks in advance! (I usually play 3 min blitz)

You will have a great chance of winning if you play better than everyone else.

the thing is, I won't be playing better than anybody else. Their ratings are way higher than mine, but will my 1500-1600 blitz chess.com rating do any good?

If you think you will not play better than anyone else, why bother entering?

if you have any suggestions to how to improve withoute playing games I bet there are more then me that is dying to hear you. As for the OP question I have no idea, but if this is your first tournament I wouldent be to worried, of course we all deam to lift the grand throphy in the end, But compleating your first tournament is a win no matter what. So good luck and enjoy your games

I have been in two tournaments before - both with time controls 1 hour. So it's not really blitz. And I faced players ranging from 1200-2000, so they were ''my level''.
