withdrawl

I am a basic member, and as per rules i can not participate in more than 1 unofficial tournament at a time. I was participating in a tournament which was taking a rather long time to finish due to 7 day time control. Therefore i withdrew from that as soon as i finished my first round matches, before the start of the next round. However, i am still not able to register for any other tourney. The reason mentioned is that i am already playing in one tournament. On my tournament homepage also, my previous tournament is listed in my current tournament although i have already withdrawn. Is this something to do with the fact that i qualified for the second round, or some other rule which i am not aware of?

The reason you can't join another tournament right now is because you are registered for this tournament:

It has nothing to do with the fact that you qualified for the next round of a tournament after withdrawing.
