Wherever you're from, you will find a friendly place to enjoy yourself, engage in intellectual discourse, and compete. Our club is a perfect place for sharing your passion for the game and delving into the intricacies of the 64 squares we all walk. We offer a range of improvement opportunities for all skill levels. We do have a selective membership policy, though; all you need to do to join is have an account that is more than a month old and a rating of 1200 or higher. If you can meet these requirements, you are more than welcome to join us!

In our club, we have a philosophy that extends beyond simple 'practice for improvement.' We are committed to continually pushing ourselves and actively engaging in the process of improvement. We also look for ways to maintain motivation and strive for excellence. Whether you have a background in advanced chess principles or not, our club provides an array of resources aimed at helping you improve. Here, at The High Elo Society (THES), we offer several services for COMPLETELY FREE to all our members to enjoy the process of improvement. They include:

• We offer a GAME REVIEW FORUM where you can submit your game for a complimentary review. This resource is particularly beneficial for individuals who may not have the means to purchase a Chess.com premium membership.
• Consistently published puzzles are designed to challenge even the most skilled players, alongside simpler puzzles that effectively convey fundamental concepts. Regardless of your skill level, our regular puzzles provide something valuable for everyone! Typically, the primary objective of each puzzle is clarified to assist less experienced players in their development.
• And our most important service - several, exceptionally detailed, engine verified game analyses by a 2200 rated player, selectively chosen for analysis. Here is a sample game for you to understand how our game analyses are:
• Stay informed about significant happenings in the chess community, including controversies and high-level competitions, through comprehensive recaps of major events.

Although it is important to incorporate passive improvement, like looking at other top games or solving problems, it is also vital to engage in the game directly and continue to practice concepts learned. Within our club, we hold a multitude of events that promote healthy competition among members and challenge everyone to become better and do their best. Our tournaments are avaiable to all members. We have made ourselves a major club in the world of multi-club arenas, always known as a force to be reckoned with that most powerful clubs look up to with respect. We have won most of the MCAs we have participated in, beating some of the top clubs in the process. Further, we also host many active MCAs that draw the interest of strong teams, such as Team Philippines Live and Team Bulgaria Live. We also keep an MCA tracker, which keeps a record of the scores of all members who have participated in the MCAs our club has participated in. The winner for the month receives special perks, which can range from a promotion to the right to play a vote chess game against the whole club. In conclusion, our club offers a distinct system of active improvement with rewards, but personal development and improvement should be the main motivation. We also do well in Vote Chess, where we win most of our matches, and we hope to be among the top Vote Chess communities on Chess.com. Your help can go a long way toward making this goal a reality.

As you already might have known, our club regularly organizes events and participates in multi-club arenas. We are planning on adding additional prizes to this - such as if you do well in an MCA for us or get a good result in a competition organized by our club - you can get free opening lines, analytics and endgame insights!
