Some facts about me:
I like to read, write poetry and short devotionals, and play chess (obviously 🤪). I also enjoy babysitting and working with young kids. I am learning ASL (American Sign Language) for my high school foreign language. I'm also a published author! I have one (albeit very short) poem published in a devotional for teens.
This is my favorite Bible verse: Romans 1:16-17

For anyone who cares, my friends and I wrote the following letter to an author named Shannon Messenger. She wrote a book series that we all really liked, but unfortunately, the newest book included two homosexual couples. My friends and I were very upset by this, and we wrote the letter in response. For privacy reasons, I'm going to redact my friends' names.
Dear Ms. Messenger,
Greetings from a group of KOTLC fans! We are writing to tell you how much we appreciate your dedication to the series and the elven empire that you have created. However, we noticed an issue in 9.5 Unraveled that disappointed us. Although the characters were very minor, we were highly disappointed by the inclusion of two homosexual couples. The reason we all loved these books was, in part, due to the lack of LGBT+ agenda pushing. To say the least, we were very frustrated by this. We love being able to recommend your books to people we meet, and some of our younger siblings have been asking about them. But if the political agenda view continues to be added, we don’t feel like we can give a wholehearted recommendation.
We are not writing this from a place of judgment; rather, we are writing as four girls who are dismayed and concerned at the turn that the series has taken. All four of us are Christians, and as such, we believe that homosexuality is wrong, whether it be an action or an attraction. We hold that marriage and romantic relationships are only for one man and one woman together. However, we also believe in grace. We believe that Jesus Christ, the only son of God the Father, was sent down from Heaven to be born on earth as a baby from the womb of a virgin. He lived a perfect life as a man for thirty three years, and when he finished his earthly ministry, he was crucified on a cross to pay the price for all of our sins, past, present, and future. He offers the free gift of eternal salvation in Heaven, and without Him, we have no hope.
These things are very important to us, and we wanted to share them with you. We also wanted to encourage you to resist the pressures of the world we live in today. We would be incredibly grateful if you went back to the way your books were before, and kept them free of any agendas. I'm sure we wouldn't be the only ones. We appreciate your time and encourage you as you work on book 10. We are looking forward to it! We humbly hope that you will consider these things, and we thank you for taking the time to read our letter!

The Bible says every child is unique from the moment of conception. It says every human life is a gift, one we should not throw away. Every. Single. Baby. is a human. A unique human with gifts. The baby the abortionist just killed could have been the next president. The next believer. The next fire fighter who saved a family. The next doctor who saved hundreds of lives. The next child who could be loved.
Psalm 139:13-16 – "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made..."
Jeremiah 1:5 – "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you..."
Exodus 20:13 – "You shall not murder."
