Naroditsky Takes On 4 Young Prodigies Simultaneously In Kids vs. Stars Episode 4
We're excited to announce the next edition of Kids vs. Stars, the event that pits the scariest up-and-coming kids against established chess stars. This time, it's GM Daniel Naroditsky's turn to be in the hot seat!
Starting on March 3 at 4 p.m. ET / 22:00 CET, the famous content creator will face IM Alice Lee, FM Tani Adewumi, IM Aaron Mendes, and WFM Bodhana Sivanandan in a clock simul.
The four young talents will pile up on Danya, playing against him all at the same time. Naroditsky will play with the white pieces on all boards with a 60+15 time control, while the kids will get 15+15 to try to beat their experienced opponent.
The Kids vs. Stars series is the perfect opportunity for chess fans to get a glimpse of what the future holds for the game. The series showcases the raw power of some of the most brilliant chess players of the next generation.
In the last edition, super-grandmaster GM Anish Giri became the first grown-up to come out with a win. Giri drew one game and won two others, losing on only one board.
Sadly for Naroditsky, the only kid who could defeat Giri was Alice Lee, one of his four opponents in the upcoming event. She will be joined by Tani, who has famously defeated GM Hikaru Nakamura in a blitz game; Mendes, who became the second-youngest IM in history in 2024; and Bodhana, England's youngest ever Olympian.
Will youth prevail over experience? Tune in to our Twitch and YouTube channels to watch the live broadcast, with commentary by FM Mike Klein and GM Ben Finegold, along with the always-insightful comments of Naroditsky himself!
