Introducing PRO Chess League Vote Chess Matches
Want to play in the PRO Chess League every day? Join one (or all!) of our Vote Chess exhibition matches! Matches are set for one move a day, so expect games to fly by!
What is Vote Chess? Play alongside fans of your favorite PRO Chess League team to help your side move to the top of our Vote Chess Leaderboard! In these matches, your team will have 24 hours to talk about the game before voting on your move. The move with the most votes is selected as your team's move!
How can I join? Join the fan clubs of your favorite PRO Chess League teams to play in each of their matches. To find the fan clubs of your favorite teams, visit: https://www.chess.com/clubs/home/prochessleague?sortBy=member_count
How often will my team get paired? At the beginning of every month, a new pairing is generated based on how active your team was during the previous round. Teams with the lowest fan participation totals run the risk of being replaced by a new PRO Chess League team, so make sure to represent your team every month!
How is a champion determined? The PRO Chess League Vote Chess Champion will be the team that earns the most points during the season. Scores will be calculated such that each win is worth 1 point, and each draw is worth 0.5 points. In the case of a tie, the first tiebreak will be matches won, followed by total fan participants.
The PRO Chess League Vote Chess Champion will be announced on June 5, 2020. Only completed games will be considered for the leaderboard released on June 5, 2020.
