WIM Jesse Nikki February
Bio
Jesse February is a South African woman international master, two-time South African Women's Champion, African Women's Champion, and chess streamer. February reached her peak rating of 1933 in 2018, two years after earning her WIM title. She won the Women's South African Chess Championship in 2017 and 2019, as well as the 2021 Women's African Individual Championship.
February is also an up-and-coming chess streamer. In February 2020, she partnered with WCM Rebecca Selkirk to create the Twitch channel HashtagChess. During the following 20 months, their channel grew to more than 10,000 followers. In October 2021, February left HashtagChess to start her own channel, jesse_feb. On her channel, February has more than 2,000 followers (as of January 2022).
