This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
Endgame Lover group mattisks asked that we create a tournament using a position that he had during a recent game he played. It's a bit of an unusual position in that both black and white can still castle on either side.
As all Endgame Lovers tournaments are, this is an UNRATED tournament. It is designed to be a learning tool for Endgame Lovers group members. The tournament is set for 48 hours per move and is a "no vacation" tournament.
As a learning tool, please remember that others are waiting for your game to finish before each group can complete to advance to the next round(s). If your game is an obvious draw, please accept a draw request from your opponent. If your game is obviously lost, please resign. As an unrated learning tool, whether you win, lose, or draw, there are no points to be gained or lost. Also, we are beginning to see recurring members who are not playing and losing games on time. If you are not going to play, please do not sign up. By not playing, you rob someone else of being able to learn by playing.
Lastly, chatting with your opponent about the endgame is fine. Perhaps you and your opponent can learn together! Setting up a board and analyzing your game while playing is not only permitted, it's encouraged; however, please do not use a computer, nor look up the game data while playing.
