Progress Report.
Greetings All,
I thought I would publish a short progress report regarding the Evans Gambit tournament.
1. Group #1 looks to be going pretty much the way the rating list suggested. Special mention for bigpoison, scoring 0/8 and wins the Wooden Spoon (or the "I Got My Arse Kicked Trophy") with a few rounds to spare, a game competitor.
2. Group #2 is far more unclear. My old buddy deckers1066 is having a great tournament (having won two games against higher rated opposition {including a win against CM Kacparov!}).
3. Finally an honourable mention for Afaf, whose 1.5/7 (so far) is a good return for the lowest rated player (when the tournament started).
