This is the first of 10 tournaments in "The Lakes Tour" chess series. Each one will focus on one of the world's 10 largest lakes. So our countdown begins at the 10th largest lake in the world - Great Slave Lake, located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. It is 28,930 square kilometers in size and is 614 meters in depth, making it the deepest lake in North America.
The tournament is for beginner to intermediate chess players, thus the cap at the 1500 level. Hope you enjoy playing and Good Luck !
