This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
Internal Tournament for members of The Golden Phoenix
Team mates we proudly present three separate tournaments, for ratings of roughly similar strength.
In three groups -u1400 / 1400 – 1700 / o1700- this way more players have a chance to win a trophy.
For there are 9 trophies to win and you won‘t be completely outmatched.
Because we are the Golden Phoenix, we present a themed tournament with the Phoenix Attack.

One game, then the second when the first has finished

4 players per group, 1 player advances to the next round

Minor changes to settings can be made if many request it, changes will apply to all three tournaments [so please, debate on it in the comment section of the news item in the club]
- Players are only allowed to play in one of these, rating at tournament start will determine which (a recent feature of chesscom is that if you fall out of the rating requirements you will be removed automatically before start)
- Starting date is provisional, it will be end october / half november
