Thematic - Sicilian Defense: French Variation, Open

It looks like this tournament is about half full and the rate of people signing up has increased.  If you would like to mention it to some friends, we can get underway sooner.  It should be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it.

There is also an Open Sicilian Tournament posted.  This allows ANY Open Sicilian and Open Sicilian defenses, but not the Alapin, Grand Prix, etc.  Some of you may want to participate in this tournament also:

his is a thematic tournament featuring the Open French Variation, which can take several forms.  These are popular at the highest levels of chess and can lead to some exciting positions. 

I put a requirement of 25 minimum games on this tournament to help insure a relatively accurate Elo.  Players of all levels up to 1800 are welcome!
