Welcome to World Championship Circuit (Daily). WCC World Cup is the first tournament of the World Championship Circuit with 32 players playing knockout tournament to win the World Cup and qualify for the Candidates tournament to become the World Champion. Winner and runner up of this tournament will qualify for the Candidates.
Below is the schedule for World Championship Circuit (Daily):
WCC World Cup (August 2021) - 32 Players Knockout tournament : Top two players qualify for the Candidates
WCC Grand Swiss Tournament (September 2021) - 20 Players Swiss tournament : Top two players qualify for the Candidates
WCC Grand Prix (November 2021-January 2022) - A series of 3 tournaments consisting 16 players in each tournament : Top 2 Player with most points in all 3 tournaments combined will qualify for the Candidates
WCC Amateur Challenger (December 2021) - 12 Amateur Players (rating range 800-1800) tournament : Winner qualifies for the Candidates
Wild Card : 1 Player will qualify for the Candidates as wild card. (Next year to be replaced by this year's World Championship runner up)
In case of an already qualified player qualifying again through the next tournament, the next ranked player in the tournament will qualify for the Candidates
WCC Candidates Tournament (February - March 2022) - 8 Players will play Swiss tournament : Top 3 players qualify for the World Championship
WCC World Championship (March - April 2022) - Top 3 candidates will play Swiss tournament : Winner of the tournament becomes the WCC World Champion
